FMPD Looking for Harbor Palms Money Order Thief

The Fort Myers Police Department is reaching out to the public to help identify a suspect in the theft of money orders from a mailbox at the Harbor Palms Apartments located at 4100 Edgewood Avenue, Fort Myers.  On Friday, March 2nd 2018 during the early morning hours a male wearing a hoodie went into the apartments and used what appears to be a wire hanger to remove some money orders out of a drop box. The male seen in the surveillance photograph is suspected of actually committing the crime while another male waited outside as a lookout.


Anyone with information can call (239) 321-7700 or give an anonymous tip through tip411 on the FMPD website at www.fmpolice.com  or text to 847411 and include the keyword FMPD.
Tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477) where tipsters will remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 or be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or and on the P3Tips mobile app.
