FMPD Seeks Witness of Fatal 2017 Traffic Accident on McGregor Boulevard

On March 1, 2017 at approximately 8:30 p.m. a fatal traffic accident occurred near the intersection of McGregor Boulevard and Lynwood Avenue in Fort Myers.  The Fort Myers Police Department is seeking to identify a witness to the crash and is distributing a still frame from a body camera video taken that night. The witness appears to be a bearded, white male between 30 to 40 years of age.  If anyone has information regarding this witness or other details from the crash scene on the night of March 1, 2017, please contact Sergeant Lesa Breneman at 239-321-7811 or leave an anonymous tip through tip411 on the FMPD website at www.fmpolice.com.  In addition tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477) or online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com and by submitting a tip on the P3Tips mobile app. All tips to Crime Stoppers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
