Register a Surveillance Camera

Register your home or business surveillance camera with FMPD to help identify criminals in your neighborhood.

1. Registration

Complete the Surveillance Camera Registration Form, providing basic information about your home / business location and cameras. There is no cost, and your information is kept confidential.

2. Verification

A member of the Fort Myers Police Department will contact you to verify your information.

3. Help Solve Crimes

FMPD will contact you if there is a crime committed in the vicinity of your registered security camera. Police may request a copy of any recorded video to assist in the investigation of the crime.
